Important Service Notice

Emergency Services Highlight: Doctor2U is a private, non-emergency medical service.

If you or the patient are experiencing life-threatening symptoms, such as severe chest pain, sudden weakness, breathing emergencies, or heavy bleeding, please dial 999 immediately or visit the nearest NHS Accident & Emergency (A&E) department.

1. Clinical Service Parameters

All consultations are conducted by independent, self-employed GMC-registered general practitioners or specialist clinical practitioners. Doctor2U operates as an administrative, hosting, and coordinating platform to facilitate appointments. Clinical judgments, treatment suggestions, prescriptions, and medical reports are the sole responsibility of the consulting practitioner.

2. Booking and Consultation Guidelines

Appointment Times: While we endeavor to facilitate same-day bookings within requested timeframes, schedule times are approximate and can vary due to traffic, sudden emergencies, or clinical requirements of preceding patients.

Identification: Patients may be asked to exhibit physical photo identity verification (e.g. passport or driving licence) during their consultation to comply with clinical guidelines and drug prescribing regulations.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our Flexible Policy:

You can cancel or reschedule your booking at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment or patient no-shows will incur a booking administration fee or won't be eligible for a refund, except where covered by our doctor-approved satisfaction guarantee.

4. Prescriptions & Specialist Referrals

Private prescriptions issued by our consulting practitioners are private orders, and you are responsible for paying the retail pharmacy cost for the medications dispensed there. We represent no guarantees that external NHS or private specialists will agree to co-manage treatments under Shared Care arrangements.

5. Limitation of Liability

These terms do not exclude or limit liability for personal safety, death, or clinical misconduct arising from professional activities of our providers, but do limit our platform liability for loss of earnings, secondary expenses, or administrative disruption to the amount of fees processed for the booking.
